Spellbooks is the magical duo of Joey Del Re and Ryan Bertollini. Using bright vocals and live electronic machines, they spin master incantations of sound that come together in a powerful way. "Make Me Wanna" is their first single out on PITS. A relatively new group, they are both long time Detroit denizens, and their sound definitely reflects a unique take on a dance music. Hearkening back to the likes of Hot Chip and Cut Copy, Spellbooks serves up a vibe that will transport you back to 2005.
