Prepare to be locked into a hard groove because Roque Ybarra has provided PITS with two dance-floor ready jack tunes in the form of his Lock Down EP. 'Workin' and 'Clink Clink' both bear a heavy bassline that is complemented with plenty of slapping percussion. Roque has been active in the Detroit dance music scene for the past 5 years, and is currently running two monthly parties at The Whiskey Disco and Temple Bar as part of the much beloved local DJ duo So Vague with co-conspirator Beatloaf. He keeps his approach to dance music light and easy-going with a knack for pulling out the deep tech burners at peak hour.
